1. Take all the breaks you need, even talking to your child or give them snacks to distract them for a while.

2. Use sounds and visual distractions to keep them occupied. Ear bud or headphones can work wonders as they get really annoyed with loud sounds that can disturb their focus.

3. Try counting to 10 before you stop cutting, giving them a goal to focus on. So they will calm themselves down and not panic with their environment at the moment.

4. Let your child watch the video in advance. One parent told that her son was initially very scared of Calming Clipper use for haircut. However, after watching the video  repeatedly while the parent went out running errands, he felt much more comfortable and couldn't stop asking for a haircut.

5. Every child is unique. This can be a great way of learning more about what they are sensitive to and try to find a solution to the things that is a problem to them.

6. Make sure the place where they get the haircut is comfortable such as the certain place need to have air conditioner so they won't move around while getting their haircut because of the hotness.

In the end, parents need to reward their child with the stuff they like as they have finished with the haircut session. Take a picture of them smiling and show it to them as they did good job.
